Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-09-30. This policy covers the Google Drive archive tool operated by the Life Before Ours personal content studio (OAuth client in the Google Cloud project gfs-studio-drive), used by the owner's two personal content pipelines: Life Before Ours and gfs-studio.

What the app accesses

The app's Google Drive access is limited to files it created itself (scope drive.file). It transfers files the pipeline generates — research notes, rendered images, published media — from the owner's own computer into the owner's own Google Drive, under a folder dedicated to this archive. It cannot access any other file in the Drive.

What we do not do

• No user accounts — the app has a single user: its owner.
• No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
• No advertising, and no data used for advertising.
• No data sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
• No data used to train machine-learning models.
• No collection of personal information from any website visitor.

Storage and retention

Archived files live in the owner's personal Google Drive under the owner's control and quota; deleting a file there deletes it. The app holds one OAuth refresh token on the owner's own machine. The OAuth app is not verified by Google — it is a personal tool whose only user is its owner.
